15.1mm tip ( tip width isn’t of the original shaper , it is of the reed itself that may vary slightly from reed to reed) Modified Mechler style, Very similar to Walt shape. 15mm at the tip, wider in the middle for a darker sound with more low harmonics. An excellent all around reed, orchestral chamber playing. It’s has many characteristics of the standard cup shape without the “ tubbiness” of the pure shape. It’s easy to achieve a very focused dark sound. A personal favorite
