1)In stock reeds will be tested before disinfecting and shipping, there is a stabilization period of about two to three weeks. Budget and student reeds are only in medium response. Reeds have been formed and tipped, but there is a settling time that can vastly change before they have stabalized. Shipping times can vary greatly, especially for international customers where patience is a virtue.

2)All reed shapes are distinguished by color in description.

5)There are now five reed response settings; Hard, Medium ( my usual playing response for orchestral playing) and Light ( all reeds are initially tipped with a machine but additional tip and overall response work ). Chevron and Homeplate cut reeds are also available. Message for more information. 

6)All reeds are worked to the proper response setting before being sent.

7)Each Steve’s Reed goes through extensive testing and adjustment so hopefully they will perform for you right out of the box.
